Please, can someone help me out here.
I am using Windows Vista, Home Premium edition, and one day out of curiosity, I activated Narrator.
Since then I have tried everything I could think of to shut that program down again; searched the "help", tried to remove it, turned it off each session, searched this forum and finally asked a computer technician. And it beat him too.
There must be some way of permenantly shutting it off. Can anyone please advise me how.    Many thanks

Have your tried [WinKey]+[U]?

This launches the Accessibility options.

Also try this at the log on screen (as the accessibility tools can also be activated there)

Thanks for your replies folks.  Just a couple of things,
Chakkaradeep, have you turned your computer off and then re started, ??
You may find that Narrator re starts with it, as it does on mine each time.
File -- exit  only exits for that session
Yes Manhinli, I have tried the accessibilities page, but can't find a shut off there either
Most frustrating little program

The Accessibiliy Utilities Manager has a "Stop" button... select Narrator and click Stop.

Then uncheck all the "Start automatically..." options and click OK.

Doesn't this work?
