Hey,

I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate on my laptop, and have just set up offline files (for a network drive).

My problem revolves around making certain subdirectories unavailable offline (ie. don't sync these directories).

Does anyone know how to make subdirectories unavailable offline?

It seems you can only untick the 'available offline' option for folders that you explicitly made available offline.  ie. you can't untick the option for subdirectories!?!  The right click option to untick is greyed out on all the subdirectories.
(You could just untick this option for any explicit files / directories in XP).

For example, in the tree below, I want to make the db files unavailable offline, so I don't get sync errors, and I don't want sub-b to sync either... but I want everything else in 'main dir' to be available offline.

Main Dir (Available Offline)
 Dir 1
    sub-a
    sub-b
massive files I dont care about
    sub-c
       database files
 Dir 2

Anyone?

I think not many people using Offline Folders? I personally didn't even think of using it because it is not flexible. I use GoodSync.
