Hey,

I am running SBS 2003.

Is there any way I can change users passwords from the intranet? Or perhaps a program I could have on my desktop to administer user accounts etc, without having to remote desktop / use the server?

Cheers,

Simon (Ellipsis)

Are you running IIS on the server? If so the easiest way on a small network is the Server Administration webpage which normally defaults to https://pc-name>:8098

You don't follow that link - you enter your server name followed by the port number indicated. The link sbiddle posted goes nowhere within your network.

For your information, read this article on how to change passwords from a web page.

What operating system are you running on your desktop?  Active Directory MMC tools can be installed and use remotely across the network

Are you talking about the port sbiddle listed or are you talking about the link I provided with instructions on how to enable the password change page?

So you tried doing the configuration change as described here and it didn't work even after visiting http://[yourserver]/iisadmpwd/aexp2b.asp ?
