I have just completed an update on an older Toshiba machine that was upgraded from windows 7 to the free windows 10 upgrade some time ago. At the completion of the update, and at some stage in the reboot I got the blue screen with the Error code: 0xc000000f. No Window 10 discs or memory drives exist as it was a free upgrade, and I am locked out by the blue screen from creating a back up memory stick from any imbedded recovery files that may have come with the original upgrade. All roads seem to lead back to the blue screen without a recovery disc of stick. Ideas please - could an alternative win 10 backup memory stick allow the Toshiba to recognise its own files and repair them without affecting either licenses?
