Hi all

Is it possible to highlight and save text using the right click menu in windows / another app / extension? For example, as I'm typing this message up is there a way to simply save my input? I realise it's possible to copy and paste into a new file and save it. However, I'm leaning more towards a simple 1 press or 1 click solution as it's work related and we do lots of data entry for online forums.

I've tried a Chrome extension called 'Line' but it only saves text on a webpage, not text you're manually typing out. Another program 'paste to file' looked promising, but only appears in the right click menu when pasting to desktop (I'd rather not have to minimise in and out of Chrome all the time).

Thanks in advance

Don't know about a right click context menu (since that will be different from application to application, I would have thought?) But you can do this using autohotkey.

See this one for example: https://autohotkey.com/board/topic/82000-automatically-copy-clipboard-contents-to-text-file/

Will automatically copy anything from the clipboard into a text file.
