I have a new install of windows 10 on a PC, which I am using as a media PC. I don't use it for any of the apps in the store, I have only installed conventional software on it. However I noticed a popup appear that said that the Spotify has been automatically installed from the store. Has anyone else come across this? I would have thought it would need me to agree to install it.

You will want to disable the Consumer Experience setting. And maybe even a whole bunch more.

I would cheer if a miracle happened & MS lost their dominance in the desktop and laptop market.

did you read MS's terms & conditions when you installed 10? You have allready agreed to it

And yes. Its an issue
MS are pushing crapware into our PC's .
Even on 10Pro , 10Pro intended for business use yet MS still push through games etc via Winupdates

No wonder so many look for ways to turn off WindowsUpdates .
