Remotely logged into my home server (Win 10) this morning, and found the background was all white with black squares and question marks - changing it to another color and it was fine, but soon as black was selected again, back they came.  If I set a customer color, just off black, it seems fine.

Anyone seen this before ?

Did you turn on high contrast mode?
Happened to me when someone did the ALT SHIFT PRTSCN troll on my work computer..

I never tried to change colour but mine was the same with question marks.

For some reason our cat just loves to sit on computer keyboards. I think it's attention seeking as it mostly does this when somebody is trying to use the computer. But anyway, has been known to cause problems witht the resulting random key pressing.

Possibility as well if the ELSB has been locked in the garage where the server is :-p

Cat and dog get on fine unless we tell the dog to chase the cat.........  dog knows better than to take on cat otherwise ;)

Reset the Windows Themes, and seems to have resolved the issue.
