What would be the best way to run a single Android app on my Surface Pro (Core m3, 4 GB RAM, 128 GB storage, Windows 10 Pro)?
A lot of what I see in repeated online searches is old, is poorly written, or refers to emulators that look a bit dodgy.
The single Android app is The Economist (magazine). I have no interest in Android gaming (which seems to be the focus of many of the emulators) and I do not write apps myself.
The Economist's app for Windows has been unavailable for many months and is now discontinued. I was using their app for Chrome within the Chrome browser, but that app too has been discontinued. Only the iOS and Android apps survive, and I understand that no true iOS emulator is available for Windows.
I've also got VMware Player ready to install and could then install an x86 version of Android. I get the impression, though, that this would require a repartitioning, occupy a substantial portion of RAM, and consume some cycles at all times.
