i have a usb wifi adapter it works fine but after a while like anywhere from 10min or longer then a hr or can be hrs before it happens  webpages will take forever to load same with downloads ect but when i disable the usb wifi and enable in again it works fine again other devices like my phone or laptop or nephews pc connected to the same wifi modem work fine even when those device are not connect to the modem i get this problem

when pages do take forever to load ive checked the status and activity sent and received ect everything is working fine

what could possibly be going on

some other device on USB causing problems.
your WiFi isn't turned off
bad adaptor
trying a port on the other side might help in some cases

Are you using the manufacturer driver or just plugged the device on and using whatever Windows installed?

What’s the uptime of the system?
Tried a restart? Not a full shut down just a restart.

Have you tried uncheking the option for Fast Boot in the Power configuration then doing a restart?

I had this on a cheap USB stick I was using on a raspberry pi. I think it was thermal related since it was ok when in the cold shed in winter.

Have you recently updated windows? Im having an issue in that i am unable to use the 5ghz connect since i upgraded to the new build, could be related to your issue also

i have now downloaded and installed the driver for this usb device i just used one win10 installed hope this fixes it
