Am currently on Mode S and pondering a move to standard Windows 10 Home.

I understand that its a one-way trip.

I'm wondering whether a usb recovery disk created under S Mode could be used to return to S Mode, should the machine fail to perform under Windows 10 Home?

Cheers all.

U

Yes it would

S Mode uses a marker in the UEFI, and recovery will put you back to how the PC shipped

Thanks for that. The 32GB stick has been put aside, for a while anyway. I have moved off S Mode, and performance of the box has held up well, and off course usability much increased. So the stick is fairly unlikely to be "deployed"

Cheers.

U.
