I'm getting sick of my copy of Vista (32 bit) running on my laptop maxing out of memory (I've got 3GB), I know that if I upgraded to 4GB some of that wouldn't be used (I don't know exactly what my video memory is but let's say 500MB). That means that upgrading to 4GB will probably not have much effect. I'm thinking if I upgraded to 4GB, and went to Vista 64bit, then I'd have one more GB to play with.
Of course the biggest problem is finding all the drivers for my Toshiba. Has anyone tried this? It's not worth upgrading the whole laptop as it's only a few months old, so what are my chances of getting a working system with Vista 64?
