Hey Guys,
I have been asked to help out with an upgrade from server 2003 to 2008 alongside exchange 2007 for a non-profit organization. I was wondering for the sake of simplicity is it possible to actually buy these as one offs (with corresponding CALs). All my other liscencing is done through MS's volume liscencing program (which I'm not involved with).

Also a question on CALs, with exchange they want to have a series of email addresses which don't require outlook access etc. (IE they are barely used and most likely will be forwarded or used time to time with webmail). How exactly does the liscencing differ in this situation? (The reason we are getting exchange is they have a few full-time staff who want to use the features but most addreses are for volunteers).

Cheers

Yes you can buy them as OEM (with hardware purchase) or Retail Product
But if your working for a non profit go licencing then they can get the not for profit discount
