Vista Home Premium SP1Nokia 6121 as modemWhen I look at modem properties I see..............
IPv4 Connectivity         InternetIPv6 Connectivity          Limited

Is this correct or should I be connecting by v6?
Thanks

That's correct. If you don't have an IPv6 provider than it's "limited". You can even change the network configuration and uncheck the IPv6 stack.

OK, so that is not the answer then.
I am on a Voda 3G data plan and use a Nokia 6121 as modem.
Frequently, although I connect according to Windows (little icon at bottom of screen) I cannot access web pages or email although Skype and Windows messenger work and I can ping the web page.Usually, when I am connected, things just stop after a few minutes connection and I have to disconnect and reconnect repeatedly before I get a working connection again. Sometimes the only way I can get back online again is by restarting the computer.Very frustrating.Just tried to send this message but it had disconnected again so this is the second time I have sent it, grrr!Make that 3rd time! Lose connection before I finishe typing! No ping to Geekzone.

Hi John, just the Windows one. I thought it might be the weak signal but now that I am getting great signal strength, the problem is still here. Frown
