Hi folks,

I seem to be having this problem just about everytime it reboots. I have verified that the RAM is not faulty but am at a loss as to why this is happening now. I can fix the problem using the OS disk, the system will run just fine, at least until I reboot the machine again. It's doing it fairly consistently now.

Does anyone have any ideas what can be causing this? I installed the GigaByte overclocking utility but never actually overclocked the machine, unless the installation of this utility actually did something? I have removed it now but I'm not sure if I can verify the machine is not overclocked or unstable.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Dany.

mate this is like asking why is the nasa rocket not going - without being given any further information...

what else has been done to it? if nothing else then could be a virus, or just bad luck (there've been reports of this sort of thing happening after the 2nd or 3rd boot!).

can easybcd fix it?
