We are requiring to implement a Remote Desktop Server for a medium term project of 6-12 months.

Can this be licensed (including CALs) with monthly SPLA licensing through our primary IT provider if it is hosted onsite?

And, if so, can we run it for up to 120 days in the grace period, and then apply SPLA licensing without a reinstall? Or does SPLA licensing need to be in there from day one?

We are currently looking for a new provider, which is why the 120 day grace period would be ideal before applying any licensing - but needs it to be a seamless transition.
