Briefly joined the insiders ring with my MS account on a Surface Go. Intended to test the Win11 build out.

The insider window stated my device wasn't compatible. I selected it anyway.

Nothing happened and so left the insiders program and unlinked the MS account.

A week or two later, Win11 came down and installed. It runs horrible currently on the Surface Go, so reverted back to Win10.

Now I have a pending Win11 update which wants to install.

How can I remove it?

Go to 'Update and Security'/'Windows Insider Program'/ at bottom left centre (I think) of page is a key re updating Win 10 that is not on, turn it ON, unfortunately as I am not in the Insider Program now the I cannot remember the actual text.

Hope this helps

Try reducing the diagnostics submissions then run a the windows update repair tool, and/or google how how repair the updates manually.
