I have an issue with syncing files from MacOS to OneDrive, the user has named files with illegal characters. (?/: etc)

How can i fix this? reading online there are several scripts you can use however this goes beyond my knowledge. As there are several parameters you must set.

isn't there a simple script that you run to remove or replace these characters in selected folders?

Any guidance would be appreciated
