Whatever happened to the ability to set the range of dates that Windows uses to calculate the 4-figure year?  It used to be available under Regional settings but no longer.  Is there a work-around or do I need to change my data entry to 4-figure years?

Always helpful to note what problem you're trying to solve, there might be better solutions than this approach.

I'm using Microsoft Office applications.  In both Access and Excel, entering  a 2-digit in the range 23 - 29 returns 2023 - 2029.

In the past I have controlled this through the Settings > ... > Regional > Date dialogue, but this option appears to have entirely disappeared from both Windows 1 & 11

Note so, you just have to dig deeper.

Windows 10: Control Panel > Region > Formats > Additional Settings > Date > Calendar

Thank you - i am familiar with those options in the screen shots but those screens aren't available on my Windows 10 Pro of Windows 11 Pro

My Control Panel looks like this:

"Change data formats" leads to this:

apologies for the truncated screenshot.

There is path to the screens you showed, although there used to be, hence my request.

Go to Start/Run (Windows key and R) and type "control", then click on Region.

I assumed you knew how to get to the "Control Panel". Your screenshots are from the new "Windows Settings"
