My computer starts with a logon screen that requires you to type in the user and password how do i get it to display the classic icon logon whereall users are displayed and you just choose one
I am using XP Professional SP3

Under User accounts in control panel change the logon screen type. Can't remember off the top of my head but it was something like welcome screen.

Go to Control Panel and select User Accounts.  Select "Change the way users log on or off"

And you have to turn on Fast User Switching.
You possibly have some software installed that turns off Fast User Switching, but when you go to turn it on, it will tell you.
