I had to google how to find the sign out button in Windows 11.  That tells you something is wrong.

Click on the Start Menu. Click on the user icon.   Click on the three "..." to finally reveal the sign out button.

Deliberate attempt to make life difficult or is this part of a bigger plan?

If you sign out, how can they send you Ads...?

Try right-clicking the Start icon.

I found that when I saw the power button was moved away from the Start button. Again. Why?

And don't get me started on Outlook New or Outlook as it is about to become with Outlook becoming Outlook Classic.

Hey, at least the user profile icon finally moved closer to the Start button, compared to being stuck very far, far away, there at the top of the Start Menu (since WinXP, I think)

😆

PS That's why we have a "brain-dead software design" thread.

At least they moved away from what they had in windows 8 where you had to swipe from right to left. then select shut down.

Ideal for your surface pro but not for your desktop and mouse.

I believe what windows 8.1 /10 /11 has for shutdown is the same.

If worst comes to worst do a CTRL + ALT + DEL

I know enough to be dangerous
