ok heres my dilema:

  • i have a windows 7 64 bit iso on partition 2, partition 2 also has the 32 bit version of win 7 INSTALLED on it, but i want the 64 for obvious reasons.

  • i would like to install windows 7 on partition 1.

 HOWEVER:

  • i have no dvd burner

  • i only have 2gig flash drives

  • windows does not let you upgrade, or even launch the installer from a 32bit OS

if there is ANY WAY POSSIBLE to do this without having to buy a dvd burner or a flash drive etc can u tell me...

Hmm if you can't install the 64bit version from a mounted image in 32bit windows... an 8GB Flash drive is <$40

As suggested, just get a 8GB USB flash drive, find the instructions to create a bootable partition, copy the ISO content to the flash drive and boot from it.

No free solution.

Why don't you have a DVD burner? You can pick them up for lunch money these days.

A new DVD burner is about the same price as an 8GB USB Flash drive, the flash drive is more useful, more portable and installing Windows 7 from the USB drive is actually faster than installing from dvd also.

All win imo.
