I can't remember if I have had this problem in any other applications, but at the moment my Windows Live Mail program for checking my hotmail account has a funny problem.

If I want to sign another account into my mail program, I click the "sign in with a different ID..." in the top right corner and the box comes up to enter your email and password. For about one or two seconds I can type things into these fields but after that I can't and the flashing type bar disappears. Around the "sign in" or "OK" button a blue outline appears as if it were to increase visibility of the button (simply a 'basic blue' border around the button). I can only press the buttons on the box at first and I cannot type anything in. After a while the buttons themselves do not have their usual animated colour change when you hover the mouse over it and I can't press any button at all. This has happened before on my Windows Live Messenger. It is starting to get a little frustrating.

I run Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit on an Acer Aspire 6920 notebook Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 @ 2.1GHz with 2GB of ram.
