Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster! I've been playing around with Microsoft tags http://www.microsoft.com/tag/ and have to say I think they're pretty cool. I appreciate it's only in Beta but they don't seem to have taken off. Has anyone seen them being used commercially
yes, saw that. They are using QR codes http://www.denso-wave.com/qrcode/index-e.html which are obvioulsy a competing technology. I haven't done much reading on that yet although they seem to be only black and white. The thing I liked with the microsoft was that it did not have to be a URL ie you can point the tag to a phone number, vcard or just plain text
