You will have to do a Complete Format and reinstall of windows,

E.g booting from cd and formatting hdd, then installing windows that way. Make sure YOU BACK UP YOUR DATA FIRST as you will loose it all in a format.

Really? I have no problems what so ever, been using Vista Business for about 2+ years now and wouldn't even consider XP again.

As to your request about going back to XP, I would find someone who understands the process rather than attempting it yourself. Make sure you have all the necessary drivers for XP (sound, video etc).

If you dont want to keep anything on your drive, then insert your XP cd, restart the computer - it should say something like "Press any key to boot CD" - hit a key and youre away....

But MAKE SURE YOUVE BACKED UP anything you want to keep.

If you dont get the "Boot from CD" prompt, then most likely youre BIOS isnt set to boot from CD before the HDD.

In theory there shouldnt be anything stopping you from formatting and reinstalling XP from the XP CD.

no offence, but it seems like you dont quite understand how the computer works. i suggest you find someone to sort this out for you. remember you will LOSE EVERYTHING; GAMES, MUSICS, PHOTOS, PROGRAMMES etc installed on that computer.

Click HERE - How To Downgrade From Vista to XP Just make sure you read everything.

When you downgrade to XP, you need to realize that you are essentially downgrading to a now discontinued operating system. You’re going back in time here. So, you need to make sure it is indeed the right move for you.

If you are downgrading because you simply find the entire Vista experience annoying, then that might be a good enough reason. Vista runs better on modern machines, that’s for sure.

Maybe if you can tell us what is the problem with your vista, then we can try to help you.
