hi people,
im wanting to transfer all my files to an external hard drive so i can upgrade from 32 to 64bit windows 7 .
i dont want to lose anything, so i copy and pasted my VISTA C drive in -My Computer-
is this correct?
or are there files ill be missing?
i just want to copy and paste every file so i lose nothing =]

You will be copying an awful lot of files you don't need and won't be able to use. You should copy just your files - programs will need to be reinstalled anyway so why waste time and space copying those?
