My OS is Windows 7 Enterprise.  I use Sun Java System Server Console 5.2.  I have installed Java Version 6 Update 17 (build 1.6.0_17-b04).  Every time I run the Sun Server Console, I lose my Aero theme.  The windows msg pops up stating that I have lost my color scheme.  Program: java.exe.  I ran through the Aero Troubleshooter, and it Detects & Corrects a problem with DWM for the current session, but when I close and reopen the Sun Server Console it loses the color scheme again.  Do you have any suggestions on how to make this correction permanent?

I have come across this before... but it's generally been because the version causing the problem usually pre-dates when vista came out. When this was happening with Java for me within the company I work for, we just ended up upgrading the client from 1.4 (or something similar) to the latest release which fixed it. Do you know if it is server console 5.2 that is causing it or the new verion 6 update 17? I would be very surprised if the problem is with the later...
