Hi Guys

I am throwing out my old laptop.  WHat do I need to do to it before i do this?  Format, crush the hard drive?  How do I do these things?  My english is not good so be easy

These days a full disc format will do (using a program like Segate tools and booting from a CD/USB drive).

Depends how sensitive the info on the drive is? Personnaly if i wasn't planning on keeping the drive, i would take it out and introduce it to a lump hammer! P.S. Hard drives have some fantastic magnets in them (Ion Boron earth magnets) very cool for fridges etc.
