Hey guys,

I have WHS connector running on a PC however it does not pick up the local username/password. The correct user details have been loaded into WHS...

At the moment all my shares are setup to allow everyone to access however i do not want to leave it like this.

I have uninstalled the software/reinstalled. deleted the account and PC from the WHS etc etc Im stuck for ideas.
'

Please help :)

Are you running the latest Windows Home Server Power Pack 3? Do you have the latest connector installed?

Are you using the same username/password, that you have setup on the WHS, to log in to Windows on the local PC when you first boot up?

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

If you have PP3 then the latest connector will be on your WHS Software folder.

The user account name and password are exactly the same? Password is case sensitive.

Also, check that the password is correct on your WHS... Just login to your WHS using the username/password and see if it works (you will have to add that user to the USERS group on your WHS).

Open WHS, add this use to Administrators, logoff and try login as this user. Does it work?
