I just recently got a new laptop. But some how i have managed to installed bit defender incorectly. Now the laptop has gone very slow and does't let me do anything!!! Help!! Cry

What should I do? I have tried to uninstalle through control panel but it does't let me. Please help!!

First, welcome to Geekzone... Next, I have updated the subject of this discussion, because "HELP!!!" is not clear enough. If the subject is not clear people won't even bother reading to actually help you.

Have you tried starting the computer in Safe Mode and then opening the Control Panel from there?

Once you uninstall Bit Defender, I suggest you install Microsoft Security Essentials. It's very light, and fast. And free.

I have tried that. But in safe mode it doesn't let me do it. Saying there is no internet acess.

if you have problems you could always restore your laptop to just before you installed bit defender and start again

A friend of mine told me I can't have more than 1 antivirus on at the same time. I didnt realise there was norton on there already.
I have now installed Security essentials. Its very good.
