Is there a way to view ms outlook inboxes of domain users secretly? The domain consists of Win Server 2003 and MS Exchange Server. I know somebody who knows how to do it, but he doesn't wanna share it. I know that he mentioned something about logging in into a user account. But the thing is that the user is never aware of the fact if somebody is looking and reading his/her inbox on the domain. I actually saw how he was looking at an inbox of a user on network. I was wondering if he does it with some 3rd party application or if he replicated/cloned user accounts and outlook pst files, which are constantly updated so he logs into a cloned user profile and reads his/her cloned inbox. That's just my theory.
Any ideas how to do it?
Thank you.

You will get most prob fired if they or your bosses found out that's if you don't have permission to do this.

If you do, open their account in AD, and under mailbox rights, add your domain account. Done. In your outlook, add their mailbox.

Do whatever you want to do man.

billgates,
Thanks. I do, but I don't wanna do it anyway because to me it is unethical. It is against my will. I just wanna know how to do it if I need to do it if necessary for security purposes.

Where is the mailbox rights option? Do you mean that in win server 2003, go to AD Users and Computers, select a certain user, right click, properties, mailbox rights?

Also, if bold (unread) messages of that user has been opened (read), the user will also see it in his/her inbox as it has been read?

Thank you.

Or, if you know their passwords, just go to Outlook Web Access and log in that way. Mark everything you have read as unread after you have read it.
