I had weezo working fine with Win XP it done everything automatically so no configuratons were required by me (was an earlier version of Weezo) . This time I install Weezo (v2.1) on Windows 7  and it cannot access the internet I get a failure on the 3rd part when testing

I get this when testing the connection

1. Weezo outgoing connection. Ok.

2. Server outgoing connection. Ok.

3. Server (WeezoHttpd.exe) - incoming connection
    UPnP automatic port mapping failed
    Connection problem: Server cannot be reached from the outside
    Action: Check your software firewall and /or modem/router.
    Software firewall - allow incoming connections for WeezoHttpd.exe
    Modem/router : Open port 80 to incoming and route this port to LAN IP of your computer (NAT)

So I have to configure the firewall to allow incoming connections for Weezohttpd.exe, but cause im on a network I probably have to do the Open port 80 I can do that but whats it mean with ''route this port to LAN IP of your computer''

And on Weezo website in help it states the below. Ive done the first 3 but am lost with the port forwarding wheres that in Comodo firewall.

you must setup your firewall software to allow outgoing connections for the two following programs :

1 weezo.exe

2 weezoHttpd.exe

Moreover, you must allow inbound connections to Apache web server.

Depending on your firewall and router (software or hardware), you must :
3 authorize incoming connections to WeezoHttpd.exe and/or

open port 80 (by default) inbound and/or

In the case your computer is on a local network behind a modem/router, redirect port 80 ("port forwarding") to the IP address of the computer hosting your Weezo server.

No point going to the forums for help as its in French.

It just means when you forward the port on the router in it will usually ask for,
Application: Name for you to recognise Port from: 80 Port to: 80 Protocol: TCP. UDP or Both IP Address: Your computer IP

If you've done that then you've done everything right.

It seems unusual that it worked on XP but now 7 won't let it go O.o

Thanks for the help.

Im still abit confused. Ive done everything on the software side for the comodo firewall. Now I have to login to my router (DSL 302g) so do I make the changes in the routers Network setup option?Network setup has a bunch of configurations down the bottom it has Global address from & to. destination port from & to. then local port. So I add the changes for 80 port etc here?.

or Advanced User Mode. has LAN, WAN, Brigde, Admin

Ok sweet.

So you obviously know how to log onto it =P
If you can be bothered try these steps, should only take 5mins at the max the first time then be a breeze from there on in.

Log onto it! =P

Ok click the Services menu on the left. Then in the drop down click NAT.

On the NAT page select NAT Rule Entry from the NAT Options drop down box.

A button should appear saying ADD below the drop down box.

Hope it's making sense? If you've got here your pretty much done. All of below should make sense, if it doesn't your on the wrong page!
If you ever need to forward any other ports just get here then follow these steps:

Select RDR from the Rule Flavor drop down box.

Enter a number in the Rule ID box. <- It's just like a title but instead you have to number it

Leave IF Name set to ALL.

Use the Protocol drop down box to select the protocol type of the ports you are forwarding, If you dont know leave any.

You should enter your computer's ip address into the Local Address From and Local Address To box.

Try entering 0.0.0.0 into the Global Address From and Global Address To box. 0.0.0.0 stands for any assigned IP address.

Leave Destination Port From, Destination Port To and Local Port set to Any other port.

Enter 80 into the Destination Port From, Local Port and the Destination Port To boxes.

When you are finished, click the Submit button.

Click the Admin link near the left of the page.

You should now see a new menu. In this new menu, click Commit and Reboot.

And that is it! You are done!

Just a note for future port forwarding!
To do with step 8: If you are forwarding a single port, enter that port number into the Destination Port From, Local Port and the Destination Port To boxes. If you are forwarding a range of ports, enter the lowest number of that range into the Destination Port From, Local Port box. Then enter the highest number of that range into the Destination Port To box.When you are finished, click the Submit button.

To do with step 6: When you enter 0.0.0.0, it should mean whatever external IP address has been assigned to your router. If that does not work you will have to enter your external IP address manually. This is a problem because your external IP address can change. When it changes, those ports will not be forwarded properly.

Late reply. I ended up only use Weezo for files transfers on our network.

Now want to share a folder on the net, login to my router added your configuration, came up successful saved and reboot router.

Load up Weezo start a check, first 2 pass, then on 3rd I get the same message:

    Modem/router : Open port 80 to incoming and route this port to LAN IP of your computer (NAT)

I'm using Norton 360 premier edition, have set norton to allow - E:\Weezo\ApacheVC90\bin\WeezoHttpd.exe

I bypass the check and load Weezo up where in the main window stats it states:
Server online (80)
Status info update OK
And displays a picture of my computer connected to the internet.

So I presume it is working. But if I go back to the check test it will always fail on the 3rd check.

Can someone copy this link to their browser and let me know if they have access to my Weezo. Its empty atm but just want to see if it is online.
