I've got an email with a file which was save under MS Publisher 2002, I have MS Publisher 2000 which cannot open the newer version. I emailed back and asked our guy to save it as MS Publisher 2000 and resend. He said he didn't have MS Publisher, someone else send it to him.

Can someone help me convert it to MS Publisher 2000, please?

Thank you

Go to office online and download the office 2000 compatibilty pack, it will let you open newer versions of files.

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=cf196df0-70e5-4595-8a98-370278f40c57&DisplayLang=en

There is a link to it.

I don't believe that the compatibility pack will help, you'll need to find someone with Pub 2002 to save as Pub 2000 format.

Thanks for the link, I downloaded and installed but still having the same error. It seems the converter pack didn't do anything at all.

If you just want to print the file and not edit it, you can alwasy try the free 5-conversion trial for Create PDF Online at adobe.com.
It will convert it to a PDF so you can print it from Adobe Acrobat.

EDIT:
How big is the file? You could always email it to someone with Publisher 2002 and get them to convert it.
I have access to Publisher 2002, and 2007. So I could always convert it for you.

Hmmm. I was going to offer this now. But go ahead and send it to Tony, otherwise to myself.
