So yesterday, after having dinner (Casserole...yum), I started up my laptop as normal, but I got this freaking annoying message;
Quote:
Windows Activiation
An un-authorized change was made to windows. Windows has discovered a change that will result in limited functionality. Use the link below to fine out how to fix windows.
So I followed that link, which took me to a Windows validation page, this 'validation' was 'interrupted' and couldn't continue. So I rang HP and they made me take out the battery, unplug the power cable, and hold the power button down for 30seconds. Then I start up the laptop, and go into the Bios and run a Hard Drive and Memory test.
HP said if you get error message 302,303 or 304, the hard drive is about to die.
Well I didn't get any error message, and the test completed fine, and the computer started up like normal once rebooted (except for the date reverting back to 2008).
So this morning, I start it back up and the same freaking message appears. I get around this by repeating the steps, minus the hard drive test.
Now I want to know, is their a program that can take an exact mirror of my hard drive, so when I buy a new one, I don't need to go through and re-install everything like drivers, software and more importantly, the operating system?
