I wish to know if a desktop IE bookmark can be mapped onto a host OS desktop from within a guest OS using VM player.
That is, click shortcut on Win 7 desktop that will power up the VM & open the shortcut within the Virtual machine.
The VM is not always turned on.

I am aware of the Windows XP mode, but do not wish to use it at this time.

Host = Win 7 ult
guest Win xp

Any help or tricks appreciated.

Also, If this needs to be in another forum, then that is cool.
