Hi,


Trying to use the new version of Windows live messanger, But keep getting told windows has made several attempts but is not sucessful troubleshoot error code 8007eeee??

Make sure your firewall is not blocking it. Also the latest version is 8.0.0812, check you have that as it fixes some major connection issues.

I am using Norton 2006 and for some reason i cannot make chages to the firewall, it tells me i do have the permission, i am admin on my pc, its like the machines is taking over

EWWWW Norton.... FYI, Norton will let more viruses and hackers through than it will stop. I recommened getting Trend Micro PC Cillin. You can download a 3 month free trial from Trend Micro

Bought it, anything has to be better than norton, Still have same problem. Can run MSN messanger Version 7.00 but cannot run anything newer, is there not where i can god to get remote help ie let someone use my desktop

In messenger go to Help > About and see what version you have for a start....
