I wanted to add shortcuts of my hdd's to the taskbar, read of the net to make a shortcut then make a shortcut of that one and add the explorer word before its path.  Well Ive done that and when I rightclick on it there is no option to pin to taskbar I then tried moving it to the taskbar but nothing happens.  Is there another way to do it through regedit?

Open the object (double-click) and when it's on the taskbar right-click the icon. There will be a "Pin to taskbar" option there.

Ok thanks I'll try both options.

Solved. Thumbs up!  I tried the how-to-geek link option first and works first go.
