"I had those probs....read online thats common, ya just gota install the drivers manually through the device manager...ya gota browse ya drive for them, and then 'use disk' with software on it (vista drivers where ever ya saved them)....this will bring up the range of vista drivers available to ya to install....and thats all she wrote....

Sorry bout that guys....

Can anyone tell me where to find working divers for for SD Card Reader...

The above post is no help to me, and I have downloaded all the old XP drivers available from Toshibas site with no joy, even some hardship...
Unfortunatley for me, Toshiba does not support this model laptop for Vista just yet, so no Vista software or drivers are available through there provided website:

http://www.csdsupport.toshiba.com/tais/csd/support/windows_vista/vista_beta.cgi

I have a Toshiba Satellite M40 Laptop

Any help would be appreciated...

Also can anyone tell me how to disable the built in copyright protection?

I read Vista has copyright protection built in, so that while you can still download music etc, you cannot write it to disk or put on another hard drive...but Microsoft has said this feature will be turned off by default in the final release edition...

I'm not advocating piracy people.

Anyone with an answer or link to related articles please post.

Cheers
