Hi everyone. Yesterday i have installed and set-up Windows Server 2008. I had a spare wireless router laying around and decided to find a way to set up a wireless connecton so i may access the spare Hard drive on that computer/server. I cannot get internet access on the server at all unless i use my adapter for it but then i don't have access to the router etc. I am wanting to know if there is a way so i may use the adapter i have currently to be able to send somehow the internet/wireless waves and then be able to use it through my router set up for the server. Say, i was to access the router on my laptop, i do not get internet access, which is a pain because i want both access to the internet and the server at the same time. Hope this isn't too confusing guys. Thanks in advance

Are you using STATIC or DHCP when you have the spare wireless router connected?

How do i find that out? I had found a site that said to use the settings on the router for a virtual server via wireless. Also the router is a Dlink DIR-615, in case that helps.
