I play an MMO and I use an addon that helps me price items to sell in game but it has a client.exe file that needs to run. I run this in a windows virtualbox VM with 1cpu and 1 or 2GB of ram and have the entire wine prefix as a shared directory to said VM. works well!

I do miss the desktop MS office apps but the online ones are pretty good now, so I think I'll just use those on the rare occasion I need to, as i've had issues with formatting of documents in libreoffice.
