I'm in a position that i need to get Qualified in linux, I also have blank spots in it as well.

Any recommendations on where to start?

I.e. On line course or go and sit in CPIT or.....?

lol and as always fast is better.

By the way i'm in Christchurch, full time job + kids.

In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.

CPIT offer courses based on the Red Hat Academy program which is a great starter for getting to know Linux.

If you want professional qualifications I'd recommend taking a look at
- http://nz.redhat.com/training/

Red Hat has an online assessment tool that provide guidance on courses etc. Our courses are run locally through http://www.auldhouse.co.nz/ . They normally run in Auckland and Wellington but we do get occasional courses in Christchurch.

If you want to PM me I can discuss this further via my work email.
