Hi guys.

Does anyone know of a way to dock any application to the desktop as though it was a widget? Ie not show in the taskbar and appear in the desktop with no maximum/minimise buttons etc.

Because I have a cool JACK program that I use that would be perfect for a widget.
Edit: Sorry yeah I'm using GNOME desktop with Ubuntu 7.04. I don't actually know my way around widgets or desklets or anything.

I don't know about docking any application, but superkaramba has some cool and useful widgets. It's for KDE, but I think all KDE apps work on Gnome.
