I was alerted to this by Rod J on kubuntuforums.net (I had a non-NZ server for security updates, so as they trickled through I hadn't noticed the lack of application and system updates).

I've just pointed my main saucy install at the "main server" and received 194 updates, 185 MB worth.

Looking at the several mirrors in NZ, only ucmirror.canterbury.ac.nz appears to be up to date.

Who hosts nz.archive.ubuntu.com?  Who should I contact about this?  I've taken this stuff for granted for years.

Regards, John Little

Citylink reported a problem, fixed now. nz.archive.ubuntu.com has been updated. Thank you Citylink.

mirror.ihug.co.nz shows various dates in September or October, but mirror.xnet.co.nz seems up to date. ucmirror.canterbury.ac.nz was always up to date.

Thanks for looking into this.

Over the last couple of months I had great difficulty being able to download the updates so had swapped to overseas servers with instant resolution of problems.

Will now look into changing back to nz again

Hey Citylink guys, could you please enable IPv6 for Ubuntu archive? had a server today with v6 only (NAT broken) and took me a while to figure out why I could connect to main Ubuntu security updates server and not nz.archive :)
