I for one appreciate the increased predictability LTS support has brought to managing Debian install lifecycles.

I've been running debian jessie for more than a year, because I wanted to use some newer stuff including the MATE desktop.
Had some minor problems during the sysvinit to systemd transition, but since then has been very stable.

I'm not sure how long I'll wait before trying stretch (the new testing release).

I'm also running a machine with Debian 6.0 (a.k.a. squeeze) for a work project, so appreciating the Long Term Support on that one.
LTS for jessie is very good news.
