No, I am not a troll, at least I don't consider myself one. I'm just a bit surprised that a thread like this can get into trouble Frown

I have both WinXP and Ubuntu (7.10) installed on my laptop but over time I found myself using less and less WinXP, and now to the point where I almost never use WinXP at all (only to sync my Nokia). I found that Ubuntu has everything I need and more. I installed Ubuntu on my parents's computer and they don't seem to notice any difference LOL they're confused at first coz their desktop look a bit different, but now they're doing just fine, happy as ever browsing using Firefox on Ubuntu Laughing

Sure there are things that Ubuntu lacking, commercial games being one of them. That's why we have one Windows machine for playing computer games.

There are some things that we still need Ms Windows for, for everything else there's Linux Wink

one of the funniest things I ever heard was "Linux isn't ready for the corporate prime-time"
then I told him all his infrastructure was running on Linux and VMware.

That's because the OP started with "You all need to try it an once and for all kick Microsoft out of ya lives and off your computer and get in to the world of open source"

Iam of the opinion that you can share your views but you should never impose them. That sentence is asking for trolling.
