I have both WinXP and Ubuntu (7.10) installed on my laptop but over time I found myself using less and less WinXP, and now to the point where I almost never use WinXP at all (only to sync my Nokia). I found that Ubuntu has everything I need and more. I installed Ubuntu on my parents's computer and they don't seem to notice any difference LOL they're confused at first coz their desktop look a bit different, but now they're doing just fine, happy as ever browsing using Firefox on Ubuntu

Sure there are things that Ubuntu lacking, commercial games being one of them. That's why we have one Windows machine for playing computer games.

There are some things that we still need Ms Windows for, for everything else there's Linux
