Hi,

I was under the impression that Dell were shipping laptops with Ubuntu installed (see: http://www.dell.com/learn/us/en/555/campaigns/xps-linux-laptop?c=us&l=en&s=biz). However, when I go to try and order one off of their NZ website and hit "Customize" I only see options for two different versions of Windows.

Has anyone ever ordered a Dell laptop with Ubuntu installed? If so, how did you do it?

Thank you

Serge

Yes for business, had to go through an account manager. Try calling them.

Was it actually any cheaper to get it without a windows license and preinstallation?

From memory it was very slightly cheaper. Less than $40 for W10 Pro.

Cheers! Will give that a go. I tried their "live chat" and that's what they seemed to be getting to, asking for business name and contact details.
