I tried a Live test of Mint 19 Mate. Impressed it worked very smoothly and all hardware was  working (AMD desktop with AMD graphics and 16 GB RAM) The machine is currently running Mint 18.3 Cinnamon so I wasn't really expecting any issues. I will give Mint 19 Cinnamon a whirl soon.

Anyone else tried it yet?

I have bee running Mint 19 now for a week now and it has been rock solid *touch wood*. The only glitch I have seen is one morning when I woke the machine the display was badly messed up. I simply rebooted and all was good.
