Howdy,

My HP Mini 1004TU has a shared headphone/mic jack and i want to use it on my Ubuntu 10.04 OS.

I want to plug a mike into it, but leave the output coming through my speakers, when i put the mike in the OS see's the words etc coming through it, but cannot play back.

Anyone know how i can make it line in only when i want it to be?
