Hey guys,
went to install some packages this morning and instead of 10MBps usual download speed I'm getting 10KBps! Checked out nz.archive.ubuntu.com and its pointing to the EU (91.189.92.171)!

What's going on here? No more NZ mirrors? If so I'll look at hosting one as this is crazy slow!

I had to ask our network engineer to put a static DNS entry to point nz.archive.ubuntu.com to the Citylink mirror to avoid running our international data cap flat at both Maxnet and ICONZ (we do net-installs). Much, much better.

Oh Citylink is active once again. Didn't realize there were multiple mirrors already in NZ! TBH I just install it and expect if I choose NZ to get an NZ mirror rather than mucking around with changing it. Too lazy with 20 Ubuntu servers =p
