myopinion: I prefer Windows 7 with Office 2010....on a Macbook Air 13"

looking at the same model do you have the 2011 model? was thinking of a quad core version.

Hi I just got the standard 2011 i5 128GB 13" model. It is surprisingly fast and quiet which is big thing for me. I hate fans churning away and the i7 model (I think it is still dual core not quad) may be more prone to this. I have just setup a new quad core i7 HP Probook and its slower than this Macbook Air and much noisier. Google the difference between the 2 models and most reviews say it is not worth the extra money for the i7 model.

I am absolutely rapt with my purchase :) Best laptop ever.

The difference in speed will be the SSD not so much the CPU.

Yes that's what most of the reviewers are saying. I'm surprised at how much difference it makes.

Personally I find the Mac version better than the Windows version; the menus have gone walkabout in Windows and I have great difficulty with finding things. It's really down to personal preference.
