^Strange, I've had no Safari issues on B1 or B2.

I'm disappointed that the SMS Continuity feature has been removed from the betas, but oh well...not long until GM.

Any idea on the date of the public release, Gehenna?

No idea but given the rate of Developer Preview releases, and Public Beta releases, and iOS 8 going GM last week....I'd say imminent.

Latest rumour is now 17th (NZ time).

There are apparently still a few bugs in it, to the point where some people suspect that there'll be a second GM candidate.

I believe that it's around 200 MB if you update from the first candidate.

I've downloaded it on the basis it is so close to release it is not likely to be a dog's breakfast now.

Seems pretty good so far!

I have been running 10.10 since the initial beta release on two MacbookPros, one personal and a second I use for work. There were a few initial hiccups like Ableton not showing instruments etc.. on the personal computer and the work machine had me always set as in a tornado warning, then some issues with the MagicMouse and browsers. As of version5 (installed today) I am not seeing any issues at all.

Overall been a smooth beta process. I am excited for the full release!
